I have been using my dell studio 1555 with windows 7 proffesional for the past 10 months or soall went fine. This morning i suddenly could no longer connect to the internet. I use the internet cable, but it says that there is no internet access and when i troubleshooted the problem it came up with 'no valid IP configuration'.

Tells me 2. Windows can't connect to the hidden network "(my network name)". 3. "Local Area Connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration. 4. "Wireless Network Connection" doesn't have a valid IP configuration. 5. A network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken 6. The default gateway is not available. Most of the time it doesn't resolve IP configuration is a Windows console application that configures the Internet Protocol parameters. It allows the device to receive and send IP packets. It refreshes DNS and DHCP and shows default gateway, IP address, and subnet mask for all the available adapters. The valid IP configuration issue means that something is wrong, and DHCP fails to receive a valid IP address. You can add a valid IP address manually to fix this problem - right-click on Start and select "Network Connections". In the Network status window, click "Change adapter options" to view network adapters and change connection settings.
